| I have
enabled Active Directory Processing Rules Groups on my Windows 2000 Domain
Controllers and got the following errors which I don’t understand:
-----------------------------
Severity: Critical Error
Source: MCSActiveDirectory: Op Master Domain Naming Last Bind
Raised: 8/24/2002 5:13:19 PM
Name:Op Master Domain Naming Last Bind - Critical Error
Repeat count : 0
Description: MCSActiveDirectory: Op Master Domain Naming
Last Bind value = 60000 milliseconds
---------------------------------
Severity: Error
Source: Memory: Page Faults/sec:
Raised: 8/24/2002 5:15:00 PM
Name: Page Faults / sec > 700
Repeat count : 5
Description: Memory: Page Faults/sec: value =
921.225147934899
------------------------------------------
From the microsoft.public.mom.managementpack.ad
newsgroup
- OP Master message is a
timeout. MOM 1.0 uses 60,000 ms to indicate a timeout. I wouldn’t worry
too much about this one unless the repeat count climbs. MOM 1.0 is too
sensitive to transient network problems. MOM SP1 includes all new logic
that we hope will eliminate this noise
- Page Count error
indicates that the machine is low on memory and is heavily swapping. If
this persists consider adding memory.
