Can't Get Agent to Report to DCAM

We have MOM installed on our corporate network and manually installed several Agents outside the firewall in a different domain. The agent and DCAM can communicate fine on port 1270 (I get a heartbeat from the agent), but no events are collected.

At first I thought it might be a problem with the way the computers were added to computer groups and applied to PRG's, but I KNOW it's not that. I added the computers to the Included Computers tab of the Windows 2000 Any Computers group, and still I get no events.

Any suggestions? Will I have to have the agents report to a DCAM outside the firewall and then have that DCAM forward the events to our primary DCAM? I'm stuck.

You need to check the Application Event Log to see if there is an event written that indicates that the Agent has received rules from the Consolidator. If no rules were received then that would explain why you are not getting any events.

Bounce the OnePoint service on the agent and watch the NT event to see if the Agent indicates that it has received the processing rules.
