Agent Status Shows as ‘DELAYED’		 Goto the MOM Home Page
 
I tried installing the MOM Agent on my two root controllers from the MOM server in my child domain. I approved the install, and now it says "DELAYED" for the status on both root controllers but I can't find any reason why. They aren't listed under agents requiring reboot, or installation failures, etc. Any ideas?

 First check for any errors in the Event Log on the machines on which you’re trying to install the Agent. Secondly make sure your can ping from the machines you want to install the Agents on to the MOM Server and vice versa as it may be a DNS issue. I had something similar happen to me and this was the cause of the problem.
