"Cannot start service. Logon failure" error when starting the OnePoint Service

I've just added a couple of new servers as managed computers. I added the MSDAS account to the Administrator group on the respective servers.  Everything looking fine. However, I see that the OnePoint service is set as manual. When I attempt to start the service manually I get a message "Cannot start service. Logon failure".

Why is OnePoint service not setup as automatic and started on my servers?

It sounds like you have configured the OnePoint service to run under an account which does not have permission to run services. Try either changing the log on account for the service to run as something that has more privilege or granting more privilege to the account the service is currently running as.

To do this open the Services MMC snap-in from Start->Administrative Tools -> Services.
Right click on the OnePoint service and select "Properties". Select the "Log On" tab and update the account.
