A solution to MAPI errors that may cause unhandled or unexpected Exception errors.

The symptoms are as follows:

You first get this.

The cause - Outlook XP.  I un-installed Outlook XP and instead installed Outlook2000 and the MAPI errors disappeared, as well as the exception errors. I'm sure this will also work for those cases where just the MAPI errors occur. Re-installing Outlook XP does not solve the problem - it has to be Outlook2000.

Be sure look at the source of the unhandled exception - there are cases (with hotfix - 305981) of unhandled exceptions caused by Performance Monitor. It will not solve the above problem.
