I've been installing the MOM agents in a staged manner on our existing AD servers. The agents are installing fine but I'm receiving the following warning on a regular basis:

The script 'AD Monitor Trusts' failed to get the TrustProvider configuration object. The error returned was: "(0x80041010)"

I receive a warning for each of the AD servers that I have the agent on and that I have added to the included computers group for the "Trust monitoring" script. Does this script have a problem when some of the AD servers are not yet included in MOM but do have trust relationships between them?

It appears my problem is due to the fact that the trust provider WMI object is only available in Windows 2003 server and up. Since I don't have any Windows 2003 servers the provider isn't there. That's the best I've come up with so far.

I just removed the computers to be monitored from the Computer group.

AD monitor trusts works only for Windows 2003 and above. Check that you are not running this script on a Windows 2000 machine.
