"script is engaged in infinite loop or hanging..."

I’m getting the above errors from time to time and resolve them by stopping and starting the OnePoint service. Does anyone know how to prevent them and what causes them?

You should get the name of the script also in the event. This could mean a mis-configured script.

Check to see what script it is and if it's a script that ships with a Management Pack or one your company has deployed.

Also you can use 'RunScript.exe' and configure the Agent for debugging if you want to be able to debug and step through the script code as it executes to help figure out what is wrong.
