Can I Configure a Description Field on Windows 2000 that's visible in MOM?		 Goto the MOM Home Page
 
Windows Server 2003 provides a description field within the system properties that can be viewed in the MOM Admin console. Is there a way to configure Windows 2000 Server to have a description field that can also be viewed in the MOM Admin console?

Yes there is. The way I do it is open Computer Management App. Right click on the Computer Management (Local) on the machine and choose properties.

Change to the Network Identification Property Sheet and enter a Description in the field.

Rescan your agents and now you will have a description field.
