Do I need a Domain/ Active Directory in Order to Install MOM?		 Goto the MOM Home Page
 
Can MOM work without Active Directory, or is this a requirement? I have looked in the documentation and requirements and can't see anything to specify that it is required, but I just wanted to clarify this.

You do not need Active Directory, but you DO need a domain. MOM won't work in a workgroup environment. It can monitor non-domain users with a manually managed agent.
