Management Pack Exported from Another System Fails to Import

I've exported a Management Pack from one of my systems but when I try to import it onto another system the import process fails.

This is a known problem as documented in Knowledge Base Article 303841 'Problems Importing MOM Management Packs'.  It seems there is a problem with null characters being inadvertently inserted to customer knowledge base articles stored by MOM which causes your problem and can also cause existing Management Packs to stop functioning.

The patch provided by the KB article needs to be installed on any systems that host a MOM Consolidator or the MOM Admin Console (including workstations).  Once applied you should be able to import successfully.
