Syntax to Use when Creating an EventLog Matching Rule

When creating an EventLog matching rule, does the syntax for a "contains substring" match require quotes? For example, if I'm trying to match any event with the words MY TEST in the description do I need to enter:

1. MY TEST
2. 'MY TEST'
3 "MY TEST"

You don’t need the quotes so in your case you would enter:

MY TEST
