Event Not Generating An Alert When Criteria for Event Processing Rule for a Log File is Met		 Goto the MOM Home Page
 
I am evaluating MOM for my organization and have a question on setting up an Event Processing Rule to monitor a log file.

I have created a rule and provider without a problem, but seem to have run into a problem with the event not generating an alert when my criteria occurs.

My log file is a generic single line log file. Each line is either "success" or "error", when the log reads error I would like MOM to generate an alert, but it is not. The criteria that I have set up is "Parameter 1 equals 'error'" and have enabled the rule to generate an alert, schedule is set to always and alert suppression is not set.

Any thought or insight are appreciated!!

I have answered my question. I stated that I was using "parameter 1" and I should be using "parameter 4".
