Why Can't I Monitor Free Disk Space on NT 4.0 Servers using MOM?

I implemented a Performance Processing rule on the following Computer Groups:

-Windows NT 4.0 servers
-Windows 2000 servers

which monitors the free space of all instances of the logical drive object. When free space is less than 15%, an alert is generated. Apparently, this rule only works for Windows 2000 servers and not for Windows NT 4.0 servers. What is going wrong here? Can someone help me out?

The only information we monitor by default for NT4 machines is from the System Log unless you use an add-on like the NetIQ XMP (see Knowledge Base Article 307793 "Only System Event Log Events Are Collected from Windows NT 4.0 Agents").

However, this article may help as well:

300117 "How MOM Monitors Logical Disk and Physical Disk Performance Counters"

I hope this helps.
