Will MOM Work in an Exchange 5.5 Environment?

We have not yet upgraded to Exchange 2000 and I just wanted to know if MOM would work in an Exchange 5.5 Environment?

To monitor base Windows NT you will need the NetIQ XMP for Windows NT (http://www.netiq.com). To monitor Exchange 5.5 you will need either the XMP for Exchange from NetIQ or the Microsoft Application Management Pack which monitors Exchange 2000 or Exchange 5.5.
