We recently installed MOM 2005 Reporting and when the scheduled task ran at end of setup the results were 0x0 and no errors in event log.
We were able to pull up reports in the report console.

We then imported the AD, Exchange, DNS and Base Operating system reports.  Ran the scheduled task and it failed (last result 0xffffffff).  From reviewing the event log we found that our log file for SystemCenter reporting was full.  We extended the log and database and attempted to run the task.  This time failed (last results 0xffffffff) with the following events:

The only change was that we imported the reports from the MOM Administrator Console for the MP's we were already running.

There is a second event - EventID 1001.  We also found in SQL log that the automatic checkpoint was disabled from the time we ran the task and the log file was full.  The log states that we need to run Checkpoint statement. We are unsure what this is in reference to.

This error message is probably not related to the MP import. The error message itself complains about a permissions issue.

Make sure that the "SC DW DTS" NT User group has read/ write permission on the Reporting Directory (%ProgramFiles%\SystemCenterReporting\Reporting). If not grant it read/ write access and try running the DTS task.
