"The product key supplied is invalid." Error when Installing MOM 2005 Workgroup Edition		 Goto the MOM 2005 Home Page
 
While trying to do a custom install MOM 2005 Workgroup Edition UI Console, I keep getting the error message:

The product key supplied is invalid.

I have checked the Server, and re-installed MOM on the server, but no joy.

Any suggestions?

There is a known issue with the retail version of the Workgroup Edition. You can get around the issue by using the following commandline:

msiexec /i [Location of the CD or CDImage]\MOMServer.msi /l*v consoleinstall.log /qn ADDLOCAL="MOMXUI" PIDKEY=[KeyProvidedWithTheCD]
