Is it Possible to Share Computers between SMS Sites?

When trying to setup a Secondary site I keep getting error messages saying the site could not transfer components because the server belongs to another site.

SMS does not support sharing of any computers between sites, other than the SQL Server and DCs. If the computer happens to be a CAP or other site system for another site, you won't be able to use it for the new site.
