Dr. Watson Error When Packaging Publisher 2000

I am new to SMS and was trying to Package Publisher 2000 for distribution. I click on the Repackage button and it scans the machine and launches the Publisher 2000 installation. After the installation completes it re-scans and then says completed.

When I click on the Finish button I get a Dr. Watson. I have tried this on both an NT4 and Windows 2000 machine. Is there a better way to package Publisher?

Yes, don't repackage it. Create a wrapper to copy the install source locally to '%TEMP%' then do a silent install using the source code command line switches after the install is complete delete the source from '%TEMP%'.
