Clients not Connecting to Content Distribution Point

I’ve installed a Content Distribution Point but my clients aren’t connecting to it. I’ve:

- Installed IIS 5.0

- Copied ApprovedItems.txt, aucatalog1.cab, aurtf1.cab from my SUS Server to the root of the Default Web Site directory

- Created a Virtual Directory named "content" which points to directory content\cabs

- Copied \cabs\* from SUS Server to content\cabs\

However, Clients do not seem to successfully connect to this distribution point.

Clients don’t connect to a manual distribution point but only other SUS servers. Clients connect to SUS servers only. Normally a manual content distribution point is used in SUS environments where the SUS server doesn’t have Internet access and cannot sync directly with the Microsoft servers.
