“Error 0x800B0004: The subject is not trusted for the specified action.”

I've got the server working per all the MS White Papers and FAQShop FAQs and the AU Client appears to be working. I can get the following:

The 'LastWaitTimeout' updates to some 12 hours later, but I know there are dozen's of updates needed on the system, but nothing downloaded. I can force a notification using the 'AUStatus' 5, but then I get LOG errors:

Anyone have a clue what I'm still missing?

This problem has been seen before and normally sorts itself out after a day or two. Microsoft have yet to get to the bottom of what causes this problem but their suspicion is that for some reason the download of the file in question didn't occur correctly so the digital signature comes up invalid.

Try clearing the local IE cache on the SUS server, and check your ISA server cache to make sure the file doesn't exist there either.
