Globe Not Appearing Next to the Clock for Non-Admin Users

Is it a normal behaviour that a non-local administrative account won't see the globe next to the clock indicating that there are new updates.

I installed SUS recently but the globe is only showing up when logged on as an administrator.

That is normal behaviour, no icon for non-admin priv users. In this case, the Automatic Update client will simply perform to the configured behaviour, such as scheduled installation.

Also, if more than one admin-priv user is logged on (such as terminal services client into a server) only one user will see the icon.
