| I just
installed my second SUS SP1 server and noticed while configuring SUS Policy
Settings in AD that the 'WUAU.adm'
template in the '\winnt\inf'
directory only contains 2 configurable options rather than the usual 4 (I
don’t see the 'Reschedule
Automatic Updates scheduled installations' and 'No
auto-restart for scheduled Automatic Updates installations'
options). There are other WUAU templates, in other directories but they are all the same two versions. One with 4 options and the other with 2. Does it make a difference which one is used and why would the default 'winnt\inf\WUAU.adm' file be different from one machine to another? Both are W2K SP4 AD BDC's.

Using the old adm is not a problem, but you
won’t be able to use the extra tuning possible with the latest adm. |
