You will have noticed early in December that a SUS Server synchronisation
contained no updates.
It appears that the 'iuident.cab' file was updated, which contains a new 'iuident.txt'
file dated 30-Nov-2003.
On SUS Server: "C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\"
On client: "C:\Program Files\WindowsUpdate\V4\"
There is no approval process for the file, so it will be downloaded by each
client at the next check-in cycle.
The change appears to have removed the reference to the 'akamai.net' web
cache servers, which was the solution implemented to minimize the disruption
caused by the Blaster worm.
