Congratulations 2014 Microsoft MVP!

Well 2014 got off to a fantastic start for me.

Not only were we in Lisbon (where we dream of emigrating to if anyone is looking for ConfigMgr guy ;-) but I also received the following email from Microsoft.

It goes without saying how humbled, pleased and honoured I am to be renewed for the 11th consecutive year and I want to thank Microsoft and you the community without whom none of this would be possible.

Event – Empowering people-centric IT

New Name for the ConfigMgr MVPs

So effective today all of the ConfigMgr MVPs are being re-branded as “Enterprise Client Management” MVPs.

This does not impact the product in anyway and for me personally it’s business as usual, I just wanted to communicate the name change in case you go “Huh? Where did all the ConfigMgr MVPs go?” or “Is Microsoft renaming/ ConfigMgr?” or even worse “Does ConfigMgr no longer exist as Microsoft has renamed all of the MVPs?”.

Any questions/ concerns just give me a shout but ...

Congratulations 2013 Microsoft MVP!

Well my 2013 has gotten off to fantastic start with the email from Microsoft telling me I’ve been re-awarded my ConfigMgr MVP. What makes this extra special is this is my 10th consecutive year for which I feel very honoured and humbled at the same time. I like to try to do “my bit” for the community and the product and it’s so nice to be recognised for my efforts.

Well my 2012 got off to a fantastic start with the email from Microsoft telling me I’ve been re-awarded my ConfigMgr MVP for the 9th consecutive year for which I feel very honoured and humbled at the same time. The start of the New Year is always an exciting time for me but the 1st of January is always a bit of a nail biting day for me as this is when I find out whether my MVP has been renewed, something I never take for granted.
