ConfigMgr 2012 – KB Article 2832622 Released

Posted by:

Microsoft has just released the following KB Article:

FIX: Automatic client updates are unsuccessful for Configuration Manager 2007 clients in System Center 2012 Configuration Manager Service Pack 1

Consider the following scenario:

  • You enable the Upgrade client automatically when new client updates are available option on a Microsoft System Center 2012 Configuration Manager Service Pack 1 (SP1) site.
  • You assign a Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2007 client to the site.

In this scenario, automatic client updates are unsuccessful on the System Center Configuration Manager 2007 client. Additionally, entries that resemble the following are logged in the PolicyEvaluator.log file on the client computer:

Applying policy Policy_ID
Raising event:
instance of CCM_PolicyAgent_PolicyRuleRevoked

I’ve updated the list of KB Articles for ConfigMgr 2012 accordingly.
