I’ve installed ConfigMgr 2007 R3 but how do I enable Delta Discovery in R3?

Resolution:

To enable Delta Discovery in ConfigMgr 2007 R3:

  1. Load the ConfigMgr Administrator Console (Start | All Programs | Microsoft System Center | ConfigMgr Console).
  2. Navigate to the relevant Site where you want to configure Delta Discovery.
  3. Expand “Site Settings“.
  4. Double-click “Discovery Methods“.
  5. Double-click the relevant Discovery Method in the right-hand pane of the console to open it (for example Active Directory Security Group Discovery).
  6. Click the “Polling Schedule” tab.
  7. Check the “Enable delta discovery” checkbox as shown below.

8. Click “OK“.
